About Meridian Grade

Meridian Grade is an evaluation desk for financial infrastructure. We assess payment platforms, treasury tooling and the vendors that sit between them, and we publish what we find with the evidence attached.

The site exists because most comparisons of this market are written by people who have not read the fee schedule. A ranking without a stated basis is an opinion with a table around it. We publish the basis, the sample and the date of last verification, so a reader can disagree with our conclusion on the same facts we used.

Who writes here

Every article names an author and a reviewer. The two are never the same person. Authors are responsible for the evidence; reviewers are responsible for the reasoning. Both names link to a page listing what they have written and what they are qualified to assess.

How we are funded

Meridian Grade is funded by sponsorship and by commissioned research, both disclosed where they apply. Sponsorship buys distribution, never a position in a ranking. A sponsored article still carries a named author, a named reviewer and an independence sign-off stating whether the conclusion changed as a result of the commercial arrangement.

What we do not do

We do not publish sponsored content disguised as editorial. We do not rank a vendor we have not assessed. We do not remove a correction; we append it.
